14 Days Kenya/ Tanzania Combined Safari

Day 1:Nairobi- Masai Mara
After breakfast head west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve and check-in at Mara Sopa lodge. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 2: Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Maasai Mara. Meals and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 3: Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru
After breakfast proceed northwards to arrive in Lake Nakuru National park in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park where you will have a chance to visit a unique sanctuary catering for a sizeable number of the endangered rhinocerous and the Rothschild giraffe. Waterbucks as well as the predators such as the lion and leopard are common at the park. Also to be seen is a myriad different variety of birdlife in and around the lake. Flamingoes are also plenty at the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru/Amboseli
After breakfast leave for Amboseli with lunch enroute. Evening game drive at Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya’s most popular
spectacular displays of wildlife – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and host of plains game, creating Kenya’s most sought after photographer’s paradise. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Lodge/Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 5. Amboseli
Full day in this unigue and amazing park in search of lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo and host of many plains game.Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena/Amboseli Sopa

Day 6: Amboseli -Ngorongoro
Early breakfast and leave for a morning game drive before crossing the border at Namanga and drive to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch. Later proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and set yourself for game drive. Ngorongoro Conservation Area’s central feature is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. The Olduvai Gorge in the neighbourhood is the site where some of Africa’s oldest hominid fossils were found. The Crater has densest predator population in Africa. Elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest and a host of other resident animals are to be found here. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge/Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro
Morning and afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. Meals and overnight at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge/Sopa .

Day 8: Ngorongoro-Serengeti
After breakfast leave for vast Serengeti National Park, Africa’s most popular game reserve. There is an incredible number of animals in this vast game park. Wildebeest is the most populous followed by zebras. Elephant is notably scarce. Cheetahs and the rest of the big cats are regularly sighted in the plains. The few remaining endangered black rhino are restricted at the Moru Koppies area. The park is also famous for the wildbeeste migration, often described as the most impressive spectacle in the world. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight Serengeti Wildlife Lodge/Sopa Lodge.

Day 9: Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drive drives in the park. Meals and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge/ Wildlife.

Day 10: Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast at Serengeti, Drive to Tarangire arriving for lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa lodge

Day 11: Tarangire
Morning and afternoon game drive drives in the park. Meals and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 12: Tarangire /Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara National Park.After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive to search for a variety of wildgame. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel.

Day 13: Lake Manyara
Morning and afternoon game drive drives in the park. Meals and overnight at the Lake Manyara Hotel

Day 14: Lake Manyara/Arusha/Nairobi
After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive enroute to Arusha town in time for lunch. Leave early afternoon for Nairobi and either drop off at the airport or town depending on your flight schedule.
